What is TheraBasics?
TheraBasics is a calm, private companion app for the time between sessions, paired with a session-prep dashboard for therapists. It helps clients show up for themselves in under 30 seconds a day, and helps you walk into session already knowing how their week went.
What clients do
Clients use TheraBasics to track mood, habits, reflections, and patterns between sessions. A check-in is quick and low-pressure, built to work even on hard days.
- Mood, in plain weather language rather than clinical scales.
- Habits and small daily practices.
- Short reflections on what helped and what got in the way.
- Optional cycle context, when it is relevant.
What therapists do
Therapists can review shared progress before sessions. The check-ins a client chooses to share become one honest paragraph, ready before you sit down, so the first ten minutes are the session rather than a verbal recap.
Who decides what is shared
Clients control what they share. Nothing is shared by default. A client chooses, category by category and entry by entry, what becomes visible to their therapist, and they can change their mind at any time.
TheraBasics is not chat, not crisis support, and not a replacement for therapy. It is a between-session reflection and session-prep tool.
The therapist value, in plain terms: turn a week of client check-ins into a concise pre-session brief, and start session warm instead of cold.
